“Working at PlantCon means being surrounded by people who genuinely care—about plants, about vendors, and about each other. It doesn’t feel like just an event; it feels like a community you’re proud to be part of.”

Our Departments

Administration

Administration supports PlantCon at the development and organizational level. This team coordinates various staff resources, travel planning, finances, people operations, IT, and maintains organization compliance, helping PlantCon run year-round.

Operations

Operations works directly with PlantCon’s external partners and revenue channels. This team manages sponsors and exhibitors, oversees ticketing and sales initiatives, and serves as a key point of coordination between PlantCon and the businesses that make each event possible.

Marketing

Marketing tells the PlantCon story. This team handles branding, social media, content, and promotion—connecting plant communities to upcoming events and highlighting the people, vendors, and experiences that make PlantCon special.

Logistics

Logistics brings the event experience together on-site. This team oversees programming schedules, audio/visual needs, volunteer coordination, and day-of execution to ensure that every talk, activation, and experience runs smoothly.

Working at PlantCon FAQ

  • PlantCon is built around community. Our team works closely with plant lovers, small businesses, and creatives to produce events that feel welcoming, energetic, and thoughtfully run. Everyone plays a role in shaping that experience.

  • Outside of show weekends, PlantCon operates as a fully remote team. Most collaboration happens virtually, with flexible schedules and clear ownership of work. During event weekends, the team comes together in person for fast-paced, hands-on execution.

Our culture is collaborative, highly motivated, and plant-obsessed—in the best way. You’ll work with people who care deeply about what they do, move quickly, and take pride in building something special. Team members also receive travel and hotel accommodations for PlantCon events.

  • Yes. Whether you’re supporting sponsors, coordinating programming, managing logistics, or working behind the scenes, your contributions are visible and meaningful. You’ll see the results of your work come to life on the show floor.

  • As PlantCon continues to expand into new cities and formats, we look to grow our team alongside it. Many roles evolve over time, and we value people who are interested in taking on more responsibility as we scale.
